technical
Technical works is also one of the main pillars of what I do best. During majority of the events and activities at school, I would be the one who setup the speaker, mics, projector, lights and much more, and for events that are at a high stake, I would be the one to be at the control room, making sure the slides in the projector is the right one, ensuring the mics and music work, ensure they come on the same time and operate the lighting system.

The biggest event I've worked on was a primary school mini-musical. This setup had about 10 mics running, four of them are head mics, where my role as the sound operator comes in. I have to ensure that they can be heard while they are onstage and muted if they are off stage to prevent mishaps where everyone heard something they weren't supposed to since, you can't rely on students to off their mics every time they are off stage and ensure their mic is on before they walk onstage. This event requires me to wire all 10 mics, ensure all of them are in working condition, label what goes where so that I know what to do of something pops up.
Basic Lighting design is also something I would do, my school hall consists about 20 LED lights, each can be programmed with the colour of my choice. I worked to ensure the stage is lit up and ensure people on stage can be seen or convey the mood to the audience through lights.
My routine when it comes events like this is always a walk behind the stage, turning on all the house lights and the LED lights, going onstage, turning on the speaker, ensure they are plugged in and then off the control room. From there I on the mixer, computers, controllers and receivers. Then remove whatever that isn't needed, setup additional mics if needed, remap channels to my liking, so that I know what does what. Having a clean and neat workspace is important to me, since at once the space around me can get messy and sooner or later, I would loose important things, like mics to batteries, which are vital in events like this.
